Grief Coach NC was built on a simple but often overlooked truth, grief is not something you get over.
It’s something you learn to live with.
Founded by Dani Landers, a certified grief coach, this work is rooted in the understanding that loss takes many forms. While often associated with death, grief also shows up in divorce, estrangement, identity shifts, career changes, health challenges, and the quiet loss of the life you thought you would have.
It can come from a single moment or build slowly over time, and it doesn’t follow a clear timeline or set of rules.
Dani came to grief coaching through her own experiences with loss and transition. Not from a single defining moment, but from recognizing how often grief weaves itself into everyday life in ways that go unnamed and unsupported. Like many, she found that while there was space to talk about what was lost, there was far less guidance on how to move forward in a way that still honored it.
That search for a pathway forward led her to grief coaching, a structured, supportive approach that focuses not on “fixing” grief, but on helping people understand it, navigate it, and carry it in a way that allows life to continue with clarity and meaning.
Today, through Grief Coach NC, Dani works with individuals navigating all forms of loss. Her approach is steady, practical, and compassionate, offering both space to process and tools to move forward. The goal is not to leave grief behind, but to help clients build a life that has room for both what has been lost and what still lies ahead.
